I miss the Tara from season one, who had more spunk.True Blood was exactly the show vampire fans were crying out for – a southern gothic mystery with torrents of blood and sex. She's become a major victim, first being manipulated by Maryann's tricks last season, and now Franklin's charm and hypnotizing ability to "glamour" her (speaking of which - if vampires can glamour humans into inviting them into houses, doesn't that defeat the point of the admissions rule?). We get it.)Īlso failing to demonstrate any sort of growth is Tara, poor girl. Which, no offense writers, could be a tad shorter. (Oh, and for various old-time-y flashbacks involving Bill. Lorena has never been one of my favorite characters, and I have to say, this week's episode only heightened my dislike for her.
That's all I have to say about the disturbing final scene of this week's episode of "True Blood," in which Lorena goads Bill into having sex with her, and then proceeded to have her head twisted 180 degrees during the act.
